Each year CTMUN staff members travel across the state and around the country to volunteer their time and expertise as staff members at non-CTMUN conferences. Staffing other conferences gives CTMUN members the opportunity to learn more about the Model UN activity and improve the quality of our conference for teachers and students.
For the last five years, CTMUN has helped staff Global Classrooms International Model UN (formerly UNA-USA MUN), a global high school conference hosted at UN headquarters in New York as part of UNA-USA’s Global Classrooms program. CTMUN members have served as logistics and dais staff as well as Undersecretaries, Chiefs of Staff and Secretaries General for conferences around the U.S.
