Team Captains

Courtney Lee and Alex Mackey

Courtney Lee is a fourth-year Plan II Honors and Latin American History Honors major. Over the last six years, Model UN has taken her to The Netherlands, Singapore, Montreal, New York City, Chicago, San Francisco and more. Courtney is also on the senior staff of 3 high school Model UN conferences across the country. She is rounding out her college career with thesis research on the topic of Bolivian quinoa. She hopes to attend law school shortly after graduation and seeks to practice international human rights law.

Alex is currently a senior pursuing his bachelors degree in social work. He has been accepted to Teach For America and will serve as a corps member in South Dakota teaching secondary English following graduation. Since his first year of high school, he has been involved with Model United Nations. He served as the inaugural Secretary General of the West Orange Regional Model United Nations Conference in Orlando before moving to Dallas. Since joining Central Texas Model United Nations, he has served in an administrative capacity as the Undersecretary General of Registration and now as a TexMUN Team Captain.
