Knights Templar

Knights Templar

Committee Email: knights@ctmun.org

The Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon (Knights Templar) were a Catholic military order that gained much notoriety through their work in securing the Holy Land between Crusades. They began as loosely affiliated knight companies until they organized into a monastic order dedicated to the defense of Christian pilgrims. The Templars, however, gained many enemies through their participation in several European wars and their status as an “army without borders”.

Delegates should be familiar with Joint Crisis Structure of Debate.

Schools with delegates interested in participating in any crisis committee must fill out this application (GoogleDoc) and email it to USG of Registration Evan Hadfield (registration@ctmun.org) no later than November 28.
