The Cardinal’s Conclave of the Papal States was the governing body of the world’s only theocratic nation-state. It was comprised of regional Catholic figures who were given holy positions by European monarchs, leading to the question of loyalty between church and state. Not only did the Conclave act as the leaders of the States, but they were also the unquestioned religious authority in a period of strong European faith.
Delegates should be familiar with Joint Crisis Structure of Debate.
Schools with delegates interested in participating in any crisis committee must fill out this application (GoogleDoc) and email it to USG of Registration Evan Hadfield (registration@ctmun.org) no later than November 28.
