CTMUN Spring Crisis Conference
Spring 2024
Each Spring, we hold a one-day conference featuring exclusively crisis committees on a wide range of current and historical topics. CTMUN Crisis is a great opportunity that allows delegates to enhance their professional speaking and debate skills, while simultaneously engaging in fun experiences during a shorter, one-day conference.
Crisis committees operate on a different set of rules than standard committees, and teach delegates to think quickly and creatively. The situations are also updated with new information as the committee goes on, so while we encourage delegates to learn as much as possible beforehand, the real test will be how well they can adapt to new problems.
CTMUN provides a valuable educational experience that allows students to step into the shoes of world leaders, analyze international dilemmas, and practice diplomacy in a simulated environment with different challenges from all directions. It serves as an opportunity for young minds to develop a deeper appreciation for global affairs all while dealing with the uncertainties and complications of international relations.
